I labored over this silly meme for two days in search of the right answers. Fictional people are important!
The first I thought of in an instant and never wavered.
The second entry stayed strongly in contention during the two-day debate of fictional Suz-like titans.
The third was the last to enter the fight, immediately won in half a second, and sent me to post this.
When you know, you know.
1) BEATRICE from Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare
Every line she speaks, I could have said as myself. Very fond of eating men’s hearts in the marketplace.
2) MR. GILBERT NORRELL from Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke
I cannot stress strongly enough that this is book-version Mr. Norrell, NOT the TV-version Mr. Norrell. TV-version is way too likeable; it’s the largest deficiency of the TV series. Book-version Mr. Norrell is beautifully flawed.
3) GRANDFATHER from The Princess Bride film
Poker-faced storyteller with a penchant for romance and adventure who teases sick child audience beyond bearing. Yup.
